DAY 1 | Braga – Guimarães
Today drive direction to Braga, the country’s religious capital since the 11th century and one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal, with a number of impressive Baroque monuments, including one of the country’s best-known sights, the Bom Jesus Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, enjoy a private guided tour to historical center with visit to Braga Cathedral, the oldest archdiocese in Portugal, followed by a private guided walking tour to Bom Jesus de Braga, a notable example of pilgrimage sanctuary with a monumental, Baroque stairway that climbs 116 meters (381 feet).
By the end of the morning, your private chauffeur will drive you to Guimarães, one of the country’s most historic cities, and its World Heritage medieval streets with well-preserved monuments make it one of the most attractive places to visit in Portugal.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch (not included) at a local restaurant. During the afternoon, enjoy a private guided tour with private visit to Bragança Dukes Palace and Guimarães Castle. Marvel with a walking tour to Largo do Toural and Largo das Oliveiras.
